How much does it suck!? It started with an itchy eye this afternoon...and by 3 hours later it has taken over both my eyes. I look constantly stoned and I'm crying pus all over the place. Can't say I'm looking forward to waking up tomorrow with my eyes glued shut.

Anyone else had the misfortune of copping this annoying fucker?

Fucker is about the right word for it. I took a day of work once but had to go into do something or other. I've rocked up wearing mirrored sunglasses and my boss made some smart arse comment. I took the sunnies off and all he had to say was "Fucking hell!" My eyes were virtually glued shut and had puss running out of them left right and centre.

Applying cold drops of chemicals directly to your eyes sucks almost as much as the disease itself :thumbsd:

Then a few days later I woke up at about 3am with intense pain in my eyes, couldn't see a thing, had to get someone to help me put drops in my eyes, was in agony for hours. Turns out it was viral conjunctivits which sucks complete donkey balls. Had to go to the doc and get a script for some hardcore eye drops to get rid of it. Was worse than syphilis.

Ohhhh....that reminds me...I remember the Cricket World Cup 1995 I went away to Sorrento and got shocking conjunctivitis. I ended up having to get this tube of pus-like cream (it was probably pus, but top shelf pus) that the mrs had to actually place on the inside of both eyelids on both eyes. Which sickened her, not to mention being bloody painful, uncomfortable and annoying for me. So was watching Kalu, Jayasuriya and Aravinda cart us all over the park. Mind you, they did it damn well.

My eyes are watering like mad at the memory!

I once had conjuncitivitis in one eye. I don't remember any excessive pus, I just had to wipe it occasionally to avoid the glamour look of a hunk of yellow sleepy stuff in the corner of my eye, and my eye puffed up a bit. It settled OK after a couple of days on drops. On top of that though, was I was not feeling well the day it flared up and I had a chuck. As a result I burst a blood vessel in my eye so one side of the white bit was totally red. All in all not a good look ......on your birthday :( :thumbsd: That took over a week to become barely noticeable.
