I thought I might pop my head in and write up another article.
From what I have seen so far in the NAB Cup I have seen some really positive umpiring by the AFLUA. Keep up the great work guys.
I watched the replay of the Carlton vs Kangaroos game and thought Robbie Findlay will certainly reach his goal of becoming an AFL Umpire.
Hayden Kennedy - wow very impressive. Keep it up.
Corey Bowen - Chin up mate you did your best. Good luck to you.
Scotty Jeffery - Keep up the good work.

I was watching the Fremantle vs Richmond game last week.
All I have got to say is wow to all the guys who were umpiring that game fantastic job.

The goal umpiring was spot on. The boundary umpiring was spot on. The field umpiring was great.

I watched the Hawks vs Melbourne game yesterday and thought that the guys tried their best.
I saw the two reports.

I did seek some info on the bump and if it was reportable this year. Hmmm have been told that it's not.
I don't want to pick on Scotty McLaren who laid the report on Clinton young. But it did get the hawks fans talking on a few forums. Some of the comments I simply can't repeat here and won't.

Great job though Scotty you did ok mate.
The rest of the guys I understand that you are reasonably new chin up and good luck to you.

I watched the Essendon vs Western Bulldogs game and thought that the guys were awesome.
Stuey Wenn - Fantastic stuff right from the word go.
Voz - Simply awesome.
The rest of the guys well done.

I am watching the replay of the Geelong vs Adelaide match.
Umpiring was awesome.
Wenny, I hope you are ok mate. Saw that nasty injury that you got.
Chels - fantastic goal umpiring. Really well done. Goes to show how many people love seeing you umpire.

I am looking forward to watching the Sydney vs Port Adelaide game.
You guys are totally awesome.
I love watching you guys umpire footy.

I can see that everyone is going to have an awesome season making it hard for those who have to choose people for awards at the end of the year.

To those that missed out on the first week, chin up guys you will get there. Best of luck with the rest of the NAB Cup games guys.

I actually saw the Young bump before and surely that is reportable, he bumped a bloke square in the back who had jumped to take a grab. Should have copped a lengthy ban for that but apparently suzi knows people and so that is why he got off.

Guys,

I am trying to encourage the umpires. All umpires need encouragement because it's not that hard to fuck up a decision and then find yourself in hot water with the observers and the umpiring coach who at the top level would most likely be pulling his hair out over some of the decisions that the guys made.
There's nothing wrong with being positive.
Oh and Swampy you really need to get out more. If you fucked up at work or at school you get into trouble.
