I guess I'll start an umpire thread.

I wanted to pose a question over on the BF umpire board, but thought it would just be deleted.

Do you think umpires would have a better reputation, or possibly be given more latitude if they had a better appearance?

It's fair to say a good proportion of them look like pedophiles. Bald, rat looking, florescent white, skinny, over serious and with their shorts pulled up too high.

Would these fuckers be less susceptible to critics if they had a few social skills, got a spray tan, did a few bench presses and went to advance hair studio? Oh and if they stopped raping small children? (not that it's my business what they do i their personal lives)

Well we do have razor ray..

Umpires are nothing in the game..they are there to ensure a fair contest. Somehow in the 2000s' they decided that umps need to be celebrities on their own.

It's failed bigtime as its made them more pathetic than before. FWIW there was only one umpire i really liked and had the respect of the whole footy world and that was Glen James who umpired in the mid 70s up until the mid 80s. You know the one..the dark fella. He was always open to a chat, a beer and smoke after the game with the players and never seemed to get in the way on the footy field and only called it as he seemed fit and that was in the spirit of the game.

But Suzi would have to be the best umpire around. Lets hope she makes it to AFL level and we can watch and fap over her work weekly! :thumbsu:

I don't like the Umpires; but it's the AFL Commission, Rules Committee and Umpiring Director who have made their job so fucking difficult that they're almost doing well if they only fuck 50% of every decision up.

I guess one good thing about Suzi doing the bounce is that for a few brief seconds you wouldn't be able to see her pig ugly face.

Apparently women dont like him, but I think he is funny as fuck! Better than the other 2 snobby ones. BTW - thank fuck they got rid of the worst one, Trev. Talk about unfunny!! :(
