Damir Dokic is threatening to blow up the Australian embassy in Belgrade following his daughter Jelena's revelations that he physically abused her.
Serbian newspaper Blic is reporting that Damir phoned the Australian ambassador in Belgrade yesterday, and also threatened to blow up her car with a grenade launcher if she did not do something about the interview to be published in the Herald's Sport & Style (http://www.smh.com.au/sportandstyle/) magazine tomorrow.
I believe there is a little bit of Damir in all of us. There's been many a time I've raged so hard I've felt like blowing something up.
Unfortunately, unlike Damir, I don't live in a state where I can pick up the phone and have military hardware in my possession within the hour.
So whether it be expressing your angst at overpriced fish, or if you just need to smoke a pipe before pondering your next move, do it here - with Damir.

Fucking persecution by Tennis Australia! I know these fuckers are behind it all. The same people that did Cashy over and their sister administration, Cricket Australia, is keeping 'Mo' Matthews out of contention for an Australian recall.
With the amount of cricket being played these days they can't tell me there's not room for Mo who has an average of 13 in Sydney First Grade... anyway that's another story
Disappointing Cashy didn't have a few RPG's laying around during his many battles with Tennis Australia. Had he knocked a few off their perch, Damir wouldn't be in this strife.
Stay strong, Damir. I hope they respect your human rights and let you have your pipe and a bottle of your home brandy while in the slam. However if I know TA you'll be spirited away to a TA secret prison and subect to a torrent of waterboarding and fingernail pulls. :(

It's Balkan's dmc. ;) The 'Baltic's are Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia. Sorry to be pedantic, but it makes me so angry when people confuse the two that I just want blow up the entire interwebz! :mad:
Dokic is one of those hardcore Serb nationalists, who hates Croatians. (wouldn't be suprised if he committed genocide during the war)
Anyway, when he took the fam back to Serbia he doctored Jelena's birth certificate so it said she was born in Belgrade, Serbia, (so she could play Fed cup for them)
When in fact she was born in Osijek, Croatia. (she said so herself when asked in an interview) As well as having a Croatian boyfriend and coach. I'm pretty sure those 3 facts helped contribute to him losing the plot, more so. :thumbsu:
PS would enjoy setting fire to that Chetnik style beard of his given half a chance. :)

Not sure why I actually wrote Baltic, I'm aware of the difference. I think sometimes I'm just so excited and eager to smash out a post when I have an idea, that quality assurance goes out the window. Add to the fact I was worried that someone might start the DDAS before me. :o

Agreed.
Went and saw them in the "King & I" tour in the early nineties in Broken Hill.
Best part was the audience questions, some punter asked who was the king, and Beefy replied "well, I don't think it's me", and deferred to Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards.
Big Viv just smiled and shrugged.
He knew he was the King (no offence Kingy, but he's Viv fucking Richards)
Saw him put a ball into Memorial Drive once as well in the mid - late eighties. One bounce off the roof of the George Giffen stand and into the fuckers playing tennis...

Yeah I love that picture, I'm thinking of contacting Somerset CC about getting a better version of it.
I nearly had a run in with Beefy back in the 80's. I'm about 7 years old standing outside the QLD change rooms of the NTCA ground, the door was open, I'm looking in hoping to score an autograph. Next thing Beefy walks past, wearing nothing but a towel (he'd just got out) and sees me looking down the corridor.
Gives me a dirty look and slams the door. Himself and DK (in his ill advised comback for Tasmania) proceeded to smash up the changerooms. I heard most of the audio. :D
The only time I saw Viv live, Beefy,the cunt, bowled him for 1. :(
