Either that or bring back some of the old veterans, like Gilchrist, Hayden & Warney. They all starred in the IPL, whereas most of our current T20 team didn't even play in it.

Will be more valuable for the ashes defence then if they had of won it; its a wake up call for the senior players that hey, you're doing fuck all right now, and gives them extra time to prepare for the real stuff; expect a very hastily organised tour game against a 2nd division couty side as early as next week. Invaluable time for Hussey, Clarke ect to find from not to mention giving the selectors more of a look at the bowlers.
