FORMER Australian paceman Ashley Noffke will play for Western Australia next season after quitting Queensland over a contract dispute.

Signed a two year deal.. Apparently QLD didn't want him to play one dayers.

The Bulls only offered him a one year deal, which upset the princess so much he decided to leave.

"I'm obviously extremely disappointed I won't be pulling on my maroon cap anymore but I'm also very thankful to the Warriors for the confidence they've shown in my ability and I certainly intend to repay their faith in me,'' Noffke said in a statement from England, where he is playing for Worcestershire.
Queensland Cricket boss Graham Dixon said the Bulls were also upset to lose Australia's 2007-08 interstate player of the year but weren't prepared to alter plans which had earmarked Noffke as a Sheffield Shield specialist
